My Priorities for CVUSD
Preparing all students: I want to ensure that all CVUSD students are well-prepared to lead fulfilling, productive lives. Let's expand on the great work this district has done to provide a wider range of offerings to capture the needs of our diverse student population, with equity and access central.
Supporting teacher excellence: Teachers need the support, policies, and training opportunities that will help them excel in the classroom. I recognize that the district must invest in the resources and training that translate into excellence in the classroom.
Strengthening connections: CVUSD and our community must work hand-in-hand. We must strengthen partnerships with local agencies, nonprofits, and businesses. We currently face many challenges as a community, and our schools should not be expected to support students on their own.
